After dropping to the 75th place in the WTA Rankings, Emma Raducanu will try to bounce back next season and new coach may help her on the journey.
The 20-years-old British player will try to find similar success as she did in 2021, when she lifted her first and only Grand Slam title. After a few coaching changes over this season, Emma Raducanu now works with Jez Green, who also worked with Andy Murray before.
Many believe that this collaboration may prepare Raducanu well for the 2023 season and that she may finally establish her spot among the best on the WTA Tour. Former world no. 4, Tim Henman spoke about the youngster, when he said:
“For Emma, working with Jez Green, doing the track work, the gym work, using his experience and knowledge allied with her work ethic, she’ll definitely be fitter, stronger, faster,” Henman told The Times. “Having seen her train over the last four to six weeks, she’s really putting in those hard yards to build that resilience.”
