Popular rapper Drake shocked by taking aim at Serena Williams' husband, Alexis Ohanian, in a song from his new album.
Ohanian, the co-founder of Reddit, has been married to Williams since November 2017. They have one daughter, born two months before their wedding in September 2017, and seem very happy together.
Williams has more time to spend with her husband and daughter since bidding farewell to tennis at the US Open. The 23-time Grand Slam champion lost in the third round of the Grand Slam she won six times.
One of Williams' priorities when announcing her retirement was to grow her family further with Ohanian. She has also become an active investor and hopes to pursue that further and become even more successful.
Before Williams and Ohanian officially started dating in 2015, there were rumors that she was dating Drake. The rapper attended some of her matches, and a picture circulated that appeared to show them kissing.
However, that speculation was not confirmed, and Williams is now content with Ohanian. The lyrics from one of Drake's songs on his new album might indicate he dated Williams and is bitter about losing her.
In the song 'Middle of the Ocean,' Drake refers to Ohanian as a groupie and indicates that a problem exists between the pair that people are unaware of.
"Sidebar, Serena, your husband a groupie. He claim we don't got a problem but no, boo, it is like you comin' for sushi."
It wasn't the first time Drake mentioned the seven-time Wimbledon champion in one of his songs. In 2013, he rapped about her in the song 'Worst Behavior' from his album 'Nothing Was the Same'.
"I'm with my whole set, Tennis matches at the crib, I swear I could beat Serena when she playin' with her left."
