Simona Halep is just two matches away from winning her second Wimbledon title, and the 2012 runner-up at SW19 Agnieszka Radwanska thinks she can triumph in London again.

Halep had mostly struggled throughout 2024 until Wimbledon began. After a slow start to the year, she added Serena Williams' former coach, Patrick Mouratoglou, to her team during the clay court season.

Halep's results did not improve initially, including a second-round loss at the French Open to Qinwen Zheng. After that defeat, Mouratoglou apologized to the Romanian's supporters for not doing well enough as her coach.

However, the 2019 champion has been in inspired form at this year's Wimbledon Championships. She did not drop a set in her opening five matches. Her most recent victory was against Amanda Anisimova in the quarterfinals.

Radwanska has been very impressed with Halep's level at the third Grand Slam of the year. One area the Pole highlighted was the 30-year-old's more aggressive play during her matches compared to previous years.

"I saw her (Halep's) matches this year here. She looks very good - [there is a] fire in her eyes. She is really trying to play more aggressive tennis and is serving pretty well, so I think she can do it [win the title] this year. I think Simona can also play good tennis on the grass. She is also more experienced at that level, so I still think [Halep] can win the whole thing."

Halep must be at her best against Elena Rybakina in the semifinal. The Kazakhstani possesses one of the best serves in women's tennis and flat, powerful groundstrokes. That style suits grass perfectly.

However, Halep will not fear anyone right now. The Romanian has a chance of progressing to her second Wimbledon final if she continues to play at a high level.
