British tennis star Emma Raducanu was a charming presence as Dior opened the Paris Fashion Week in style this week.
Raducanu, who is an ambassador for the French fashion company, wore a glamorous monochrome black dress adorned with gleaming floral silver lines, and knee-high boots from Dior's Resort 2024 collection.
She walked through the turnstiles and inside the building in tandem with her rumored boyfriend Carlo Agostinelli. In a video shared on social media, the 20-year-old was seated in the front row as she watched brands unveil their latest collection on the catwalk, featuring famous models walking the runway.
Raducanu had been in the French capital for a few days before the event, first sharing a video at the gym on her Instagram stories.
It is the second time that Raducanu has attended the Paris Fashion Week show after attending Dior's collection set last October. The British tennis sensation was also in Mexico City earlier this year where the fashion house hosted its Cruise 2024 show.
Raducanu is one of Dior's high-profile ambassadors and she went in their books after her historic US Open triumph two seasons ago. It was the first time she stepped into the world of fashion. Dior was one of the many lucrative brand deals that the 20-year-old had due to her endearing personality and tennis success.
At the moment, Raducanu is recovering from multiple surgeries that have sidelined her for the best part of six months. In a recent interview, Raducanu revealed her decision to shut down her 2023 season, adding that it was tough to watch the Grand Slams as a spectator.
The Canadian-born Briton has fallen outside the world's Top 200, but she remains about her upcoming comeback. Raducanu is scheduled to appear at the inaugural Macau Tennis Masters exhibition in December. Macau is an autonomous city located on China's south coast, and we could potentially see Raducanu return to her mother's homeland for a second time this year.
