Without a doubt, Ons Jabeur enjoys the best season of her career and it was recognized especially by the supporters in Tunisia.

Since reaching the Wimbledon final and then adding another one at the US Open, the 28-years-old Tunisian became a superstar not just in her country but also in the continent. World number 2 collected a lot of awards this season and now she added another one.

Jabeur lost two Grand Slam finals in a row and especially the second loss was very disappointing for her. However, she knows that there are many more chances ahead of her as she also said in the post-match press conference.

"I struggled to win my first WTA title," Jabeur said after losing the 2022 US Open final. "It took me time. So I believe this will take me time. The most important thing is accepting it, learning from the finals that I lost. But yeah, definitely I'm not someone that going to give up. I am sure I'm going to be in the final again. I will try my best to win it."

A few weeks after the last Grand Slam of the season, Jabeur was also awarded the Arab Sports Personality of the Year by the Fatima bint Mubarak Women Sports Awards committee as reported by Reem Abulleil.
