Lady luck gave tennis fans a proper delight in Cincinnati as Serena Williams will play Emma Raducanu in what might be their only meeting ever.

Like many other tennis players, Emma Raducanu grew up watching Serena Williams dominate the world of WTA tennis. Williams was already a 4x grand slam champion by the time Raducanu was born and now the young Brit will get to play her in an official match.

It comes only weeks before Williams is set to retire from tennis so this might be the only chance Raducanu will ever get to play Williams. Speaking ahead of the event, Emma admitted that she's not worried about winning or losing but rather experiencing something she'll remember forever:

"For our careers to have crossed like this, I'm fortunate to be able to play her. Whatever happens, it will be an incredible experience that I'll surely remember for the rest of my life."

She continued:

"It will be an exciting match, I'm looking forward to it. It will be an amazing opportunity to play the best tennis player of all time. This will probably be my last opportunity."
