Serena Williams is ready to take on anyone who thinks they can beat her in tennis, extending an invite to play at her home.
There are not many more successful female tennis players than Serena Williams. In fact, only one woman has won more Grand Slams than the legendary American, as Margaret Court managed to lift 24 majors, while Williams won 23.
Despite her incredible achievements, some tennis fans still seem to be delusional enough to claim that they would be able to beat Williams, or even take a game away from her.
Quite often, professionals explain how unaware regular people are when it comes to guessing the qualities of professional athletes, and this is yet another case of that.
Many men claimed in a poll on Twitter that they could beat Serena at tennis, and she is willing to accept any challenge. The former American tennis player had a humorous response to Jordon Crook's hilarious question about that during her presentation at the TechCrunch event.
"Well any day, I'm ready, we should start doing a big challenge. Come over to my house and I will take'em down one at a time."
Williams' confident response shows how certain she is that if any non-professional would try to beat her on the tennis court, it would end with her victory, and of course, she's right.
Currently, she's away from tennis but staying busy as she focuses on her business career while also dropping hints that she might not be fully done with tennis.
Announcing her professional retirement at the 2022 US Open, Williams certainly wanted to end with the 24th Grand Slam title in her hands, but that didn't come true, and it's not a surprise that many fans would like to see her on the court at least once more.
