Ons Jabeur made it to another Wimbledon quarterfinal hoping to go one step further this year and she's fairly confident she can do it.

It was a tricky affair against Elise Mertens who was playing a great match but Jabeur was able to fight past her with sheer determination. It's the same determination that made her work hard in previous years with the result clearly visible now. Ranked number two in the world, Jabeur is now the favourite to win Wimbledon.

I'm just very positive about what I want to do. I have my goals very high for this tournament, so I'm going to keep doing that. No matter who's coming, I'm going to build the fight, I'm going to fight till the end because I really want the title.

Playing on grass comes naturally to Jabeur but it was not always so. She won her maiden trophy on the surface last year and added one this year in Berlin as well. She's been pretty comfortable at Wimbledon so far and she hopes it will continue.

I love playing on the grass. I love the connection between nature and me. Hopefully, it can continue to the final.

For the Tunisian trailblazer playing tennis is more than just winning. It's inspiring others to follow her journey. It's something she still echoes every day.

I'm just trying my best to break records, to really open the path for the next generation.
