Coco Gauff can't be anything but happy about how she started her 2024 season as she's set to play the 2024 ASB Classic final.

Last year, the teenage American cruised towards the trophy in Auckland without losing a single set. This year, it seems that she'll be able to achieve the same result, as now she's already in the final of the WTA 250 tournament.

Although, she reached the final without losing a set also last year, this year, her dominance is unmatched. There wasn't a single player that would get remotely close to winning a set against Gauff.

After dominantly beating Varvara Gracheva, the American took on fellow compatriot, and the fourth seed at the tournament, Emma Navarro. The 22-year-old has been in a good form, and many thought that she could challenge the 19-year-old prodigy.

However, that never happened, and it was mostly thanks to Gauff's incredible serving. In the match, the 2023 US Open champion served 10 aces, while winning 28 out of 30 points after her first serve.

In the first set of the match, she did not face a single break point, and thanks to breaking Navarro's serve in the fourth game, she was able to win the set comfortably 6-3.

The second set was even less competitive than that. This time, Gauff faced two break points in the sixth game of the set, but by then, the result of the match was seemingly decided, as she had a two-break lead.

The 19-year-old broke her opponent in the first, fifth, and seventh game, using 100% of her break points. As a result, she was able to win the match 6-3, 6-1 in an hour and five minutes and reach the 2024 ASB Classic final, her second in a row.

In the final match, the teenager will await the winner of the match between Xiyu Wang from China and the second-seeded Elina Svitolina from Ukraine.
