Emma Raducanu is playing really strong tennis at the 2024 Eastbourne International, and she will meet Daria Kasatkina in the quarter-finals of the WTA 500 event.

Raducanu started the event with a win over Sloane Stephens and added another victory over Jessica Pegula to reach the quarter-finals. Her win over Pegula was particularly impressive because she lost the opening set and was down a break in the second set, facing a match point, before storming back to win the match.

She hopes to win again in her next match because a semi-final is at stake, and she certainly wants to get there. Her next opponent is Kasatkina, who is a really tricky player to beat due to the way she plays tennis. She runs a lot and gets many balls back, which is annoying to play against.

Head-to-head:

The two have played only once so far, and the Russian won that match. It was a while ago in Ostrava, and the Brit is certainly a far better player right now. She's certainly very confident in her tennis.

Kasatkina is a solid grass player, but Raducanu should generally have the upper hand because her style suits this surface well. She also displayed high belief in herself this week, so that's another thing to consider.

Prediction:

With everything we saw from Raducanu on the grass this year, she should be the favorite to win this match. Kasatkina can play a fascinating match to beat her, but it will be very difficult. On top of that, the Brit will have an advantage on home soil with the fans backing her, so she should be able to win this match.

Prediction: Emma Raducanu to win in two sets.
