2023 Libema Open 's-Hertogenbosch WTA Draw - Andreescu, Williams & more

The 2023 Libema Open in 's-Hertogenbosch will kick off the grass-court part of the season as the first WTA 250 event.

Running along the ATP tournament, the 2023 Libema Open is only one of three grass-court tournaments that welcomes both men and women. It's played from June 12th to 18th and the draw promises a lot of action and interesting matches.

The main storyline will be the comeback of Venus Williams. The American is set to play her first match since January, and in the first round of the competition, she will play against Celine Naef from Switzerland.

But the five-time Wimbledon champion will face a lot of difficult challenges if she wants to win in the Dutch city. The first-seeded Veronika Kudermetova may be one of them as the Russian will start against Alison Riske-Amtritraj in the first round.

After playing the Roland Garros mixed doubles final, Bianca Andreescu also returns to the grass courts. The Canadian is the sixth-seeded player at the tournament and she will start against one of the qualifiers in the first round.

The second-seeded Liudmila Samsonova is one of the players who knows how to use her weapons on the grass court, but she'll have to wait to see who will she need to use them against, playing against one of the qualifiers in the first round.

Also the third-seeded Victoria Azarenka will want to make her mark on the grass courts in 's-Hertogenbosch, but same as Andreescu and Samsonova, she will also play against one of the qualifiers in the opening round of the tournament.
