Jannik Sinner has earned tens of millions of dollars during his tennis career, and he has now crossed an important milestone after winning the 2025 Vienna Open.
Sinner was simply unstoppable for his opponents at the ATP 500 event in Vienna. He beat Daniel Altmaier, Flavio Cobolli, Alexander Bublik, Alex de Minaur, and Alexander Zverev to lift the title in the Austrian capital.
After winning the trophy, the Italian player addressed his new girlfriend, but also thanked his team, as this was his first title since the China Open in Beijing, because he was forced to retire at the Shanghai Masters.
As the champion of the Vienna Open, Sinner earned a total of €511,835 in prize money, which increased his career earnings enough to surpass the $50 million mark. He has now earned a total of $50,460,897 during his tennis career.
For Sinner, the final in Vienna was special. He was born and raised in South Tyrol, growing up in a German-speaking family. As such, Vienna and Austria are special for the ATP world No. 2 player.
"It feels amazing. It was such a difficult start in this final for me. I went a break down, had some chances in the first set but couldn’t use them. He was serving very well, but I just tried to stick there mentally and play my best tennis when it came."
"The third set was a bit of a rollercoaster, but I was feeling the ball very well at times, so I tried to push and I’m very happy of course to win another title. It’s very special."
"It was very difficult of course. The most important thing was to not give up and try to stay there. Try to see what the situation was. I just tried to make the right choices at the right time. I think that was the key today. Serving well and saving energy in my service games was important too."

Jannik Sinner becomes just the seventh man to cross the $50 million mark

By crossing $50 million in career prize money, Sinner became just the seventh man to do so. Novak Djokovic leads the career prize money earnings with $190,526,213 earned across his incredibly successful tennis career.
Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, and Andy Murray, who are all retired, are second, third, and fourth in the all-time standings. Three active players follow them. Alexander Zverev is fifth in the all-time standings a total of $55,662,085 earned in his tennis career.
Following the German player is Carlos Alcaraz, who might soon overtake his older rival. Alcaraz has earned $54,725,285 on the tennis courts. Behind them is Sinner, who became just the seventh man to cross the $50 million mark in career earnings.

Jannik Sinner has earned tens of millions more outside of the tennis courts

Although Sinner just crossed the $50 million mark in career prize money, he has earned even more outside of the courts. The Italian player won the prestigious exhibition event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, called the Six Kings Slam, twice in a row. Just for doing that, he pocketed $12 million.
On top of that, Sinner has a reported 10-year deal worth $158 million with Nike and many more deals with brands such as Gucci. There is no doubt that by the end of his tennis career, Sinner might be attacking a billion-dollar net worth.
