Coco Gauff's exciting and innovative collaboration with New Balance has continued with the launch of a new tennis shoe.

The WTA world No. 3 has released two signature shoes with New Balance. Gauff wore the CG1 during her infamous run to the 2023 US Open title, overcoming Aryna Sabalenka in a dramatic final.

Last year, Gauff and New Balance unveiled the CG2. She did not have the same success with the new signature shoe at the US Open, but won the 2024 WTA Finals while wearing them a few months later.

While many have bought Gauff's two signature shoes, their prestige and high-quality design means their price point is unaffordable to some people. The American and her collaborator have sought to address that with their latest design.

Gauff and New Balance have unveiled the Coco Delray, a more affordable shoe that retails at $110 and is also suitable for casual wear, keeps many of the high-profile aspects of the CG1 and CG2 while making them more accessible.

The American No. 1 announced she is proud of the new shoes because they can increase access to a key piece of tennis equipment and celebrate Delray Beach, where her parents were born.

"I'm incredibly proud to launch the new Coco Delray because it's more than just a tennis shoe – it represents an opportunity to broaden access to those interested in playing the game and will have a positive cultural impact for generations to come."
"Delray Beach helped spark my tennis journey, so it's special to me to tell the story of this community that influenced exactly why I love this sport."

Gauff's want to demonstrate where she came from and how much accessibility to tennis means to her is shown by her grandmother, Yvonne Lee Odom, narrating a video about Delray Beach and the public courts that Gauff played on in the city as a child to promote the shoe.

Evan Zeder, New Balance's Head of Tennis Sports Marketing, also made a statement, stating that the shoe is intended to show Gauff's passion about ensuring that as many people as possible have access to playing sports.

"Our hope with the Coco Delray is to emphasize access to sport for all. It means a lot to Coco that anyone who wants to play tennis should be able to pick up a racquet and play. The Coco Delray represents her ongoing commitment to promoting this inclusivity within the sport, starting in her own backyard."

The shoe will be available in two colors. Gauff's profile, her successful partnership with New Balance to date, and the more affordable price points meant there will likely be significant demand for it.

Gauff is currently experiencing a challenging run of form. She lost to Belinda Bencic in the round of 16 at the 2025 Indian Wells Open, her fourth defeat in six matches after playing great tennis in the previous few months, including winning the WTA Finals.

The 21-year-old will have an opportunity to respond at the 2025 Miami Open. Gauff has never been past the fourth round of that tournament, but can change all of that with a deep run.
