At the 2022 Roland Garros, Novak Djokovic is certainly playing his best tennis as he reached already quarterfinals in the French capital.
In his fourth round match against Diego Schwartzman, the world number 1 dominated once again when he dropped only seven games throughout the match. Most probably, he will take on Rafael Nadal in the quarterfinals, but the Parisian crowd is certainly not helping him. When Novak Djokovic was entering the court, some of the people started booing without any particular reason.
Then, later in the match, the Serbian played an incredible dropshot winner and pointed to his ear after that encouraging the crowd in France to respond to it. While some of the people booed also at this moment, the vast majority of the crowd appreciated the excellence of the shot.
Booing seems to be an issue at the 2022 Roland Garros overall, as also home player Alize Cornet got booed after retiring her match. Currently, Djokovic is on a 22-set winning streak as he triumphed at the 2022 Italian Open without losing a set and is also yet to drop a set in Paris.
