Carlos Alcaraz recently revealed what he will be wearing at the 2022 Roland Garros.
Players outfits are usually one of the hottest topics ahead of the Grand Slam tournaments and one day before his first match Alcaraz gave his fans a glimpse of what his outfit looked like.
After winning 16 out of 17 matches played on clay in the 2022 season and lifting back-to-back titles at home tournaments in Barcelona and Madrid, the 19-year-old has emerged as one of the favorites for the title in Paris.
The draw for the second Grand Slam tournament of the season has been released. The young Spaniard will kick off his campaign against Juan Ignacio Londero on Sunday. The pair have never met, and the Argentinian comes from a successful qualifying run.
"New outfit for @rolandgarros 😋🔝Always happy to come visit my @nikecourt family. Happy 50th anniversary @nike."— Alcaraz shared a sneak peek of his outfit for Roland Garros on Instagram
However, the sixth-seeded Alcaraz seemed to be in a fine spirits ahead of the tournament as he celebrated the 50th anniversary of Nike and showed his fans his outfit for the clay-court major in a post on Instagram.
After wearing dark green and with a touch of white in Madrid, he will have a t-shirt with a combination of white and light blue which looks almost similar to what Rafael Nadal wore in Madrid.
This will be Alcaraz's second main draw appearance at the French Open. Last year, he was beaten in the third round by Jan-Lennard Struff after navigating his way from qualifying.
This time, he's firmly ranked in the world's Top 10 after enjoying a meteoric rise, heightened by winning four titles in the first half of the season.
His career highlight is definitely his run to the Madrid title, where he became the first man to beat Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic in back-to-back matches on clay.
