Stefanos Tsitsipas won the Mallorca Championships, and it was his maiden grass title, making him the latest player to have won a trophy on all surfaces.

Winning on all surfaces proves the versatility of a player, and it's not surprising that not many tennis players managed to win a title on all three surfaces in their careers.

In fact, before the 2022 Mallorca Championships, it's been five years since someone did it, as France's Lucas Pouille was the last player to complete his collection.

Over the years, many players from the upcoming generation got close to it, but neither managed to do it, until Stefanos Tsitsipas won the 2022 Mallorca Championships by beating Robert Bautista Agut.

The Greek tennis player has won hard court and clay courts even in the past, but he has never won a trophy on grass until today. This was actually his maiden final on the surface as well.

He came close in Stuttgart earlier this year but was beaten by Murray in the semifinal. Now, in a final, Tsitsipas overcame a spirited effort from Roberto Bautista Agut to win the trophy.

Contrary to popular belief, there are not many active players who have done that, and quite a few high-profile names have never done it.

For example, Daniil Medvedev managed to win titles on both hard and grass courts, but he couldn't do it on clay, which is his least preferred surface.

Due to the low number of grass-court tournaments in the calendar, there are also plenty of players who miss a title from the green surface. Some of them are Alexander Zverev, Andrey Rublev, Cameron Norrie, and Gael Monfils.

It's expected that all of the will join Tsitsipas in the future, but for now, the Greek player is the one that ended a five-year wait for someone to win a title on all three surfaces.
