The final line-up for the 2023 Laver Cup has been completed after star additions completing teams of Bjorn Borg and John McEnroe.

The tennis world once again awaits the highly-anticipated Laver Cup, but this time, the event will be played without three of the most successful players in the history of the ATP Tour. Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal won't compete at the tournament, and while Roger Federer will be present, it won't be in a playing capacity.

Held from September 22nd to 24th, 2023, the event will be played at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, giving the home-court advantage to Team World. Captains John McEnroe and Bjorn Borg have recently unveiled their last picked players, as the American will attempt to lead Team World to another triumph after last year's success.

McEnroe's dynamic Team World boasts a vibrant mix of seasoned players and fresh talent. Joining stalwarts like Taylor Fritz, Frances Tiafoe, and Felix Auger-Aliassime are the resilient Tommy Paul, a fiery Francisco Cerundolo, and the American sensation, Ben Shelton. Paul was one of the players who witnessed last year's win, and he's happy to join Team World at the Laver Cup this year, too.

"I had a front row seat and supported my Team World teammates to victory in London, and I’m pumped that this year in Vancouver, I will be able to step on court at Rogers Arena and directly contribute to the outcome."

Borg's selections for Team Europe underscore the richness of talent in European tennis. While the presence of heavyweights like Holger Rune, Casper Ruud, Stefanos Tsitsipas, and Andrey Rublev would intimidate any adversary, it’s the inclusion of the Polish dynamo Hubert Hurkacz and the rejuvenated Gael Monfils that completes the feared line-up.

Looking forward to helping Team Europe, one of the biggest showmen on the ATP Tour, Monfils is happy to help the team achieve something that his teammates couldn't do last year - win the popular exhibition event.

"I’ve never been part of the Laver Cup before and to be selected at this stage in my career is really such a privilege. I want to thank Bjorn for giving me this opportunity. I plan to make the most of it for myself and the team!"
