Roger Federer loves the Laver Cup and he did not shy away from listing it as one of his most important tennis achievements.

Federer was the player that pushed for the competition the most among current players and the competition proved to be highly successful and very popular among fans. It's a mid-season celebration of tennis with a competitive edge pitting Europe against the World. Many players participated over the years and the 2022 edition is already shaping up to be epic as tennis returns to the famous O2 Arena in London.

Both Federer and Nadal have signed up for the event already with Federer now eyeing another Spaniard for the competition. According to Marca Federer and his TEAM8 management company want to see Alcaraz take part in the competition they founded. Alcaraz who broke out this year in a major way is currently on a hot-streak winning back-to-back events in Barcelona and Madrid and rising to number 6 in the world rankings.

If Alcaraz signed up for the competition running from September 23 to September 25 it could prove one of the most memorable Laver Cups considering the venue and the names taking part in it. Maybe Djokovic is up for it too? Time will tell.
