Roger Federer flaunted his new custom-made trainers, created by Swiss brand On, at the Met Gala after party.
Federer was heavily involved in the 2023 Met Gala as he co-hosted the event alongside other global icons including Penelope Cruz, Dua Lipa, Michaela Coel, and Vogue's Anna Wintour. The 20-time Grand Slam champion also attended the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City alongside his wife Mirka and he was one of several tennis figures at the event as Serena Williams and Matteo Berrettini were also present.
Following the formalities of the star-studded gathering, Federer took the chance to let his hair down at the after party on Sunday, May 1 and changed into more comfortable attire following the main event. To complete his casual look, the Swiss star swapped his loafers for the On created Roger Clubhouse trainers as the brand then announced the item on its social media channels.
"THE ROGER Clubhouse, now Met Gala afterparty approved. @rogerfederer rocking his custom pair to hit up the dance floor,"— On posted on Instagram
Federer has had a long-term partnership with the running shoe brand On, in which the retired tennis star invested in 2021. The 41-year-old has supported the brand with their running shoes previously but also helped with input with the company's new tennis trainers.
