Roger Federer has been enjoying his retirement, experiencing different events. His latest experience came at the Met Gala, where he is one of the co-hosts this year.
Federer is probably the most popular tennis player on the planet, and with tennis being one of the most popular sports on Earth, the Swiss Maestro is therefore also one of the most popular human beings in general.
Almost everyone knows Federer, and that's why he has a chance to complete the ultimate bucket list of experiences after his retirement from tennis, which happened at last year's Laver Cup in London.
The latest point on his list appears to be co-hosting the popular Met Gala, which is traditionally held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. In 2023, Federer is one of the co-hosts alongside Penelope Cruz, Dua Lipa, Michaela Coel, and Anna Wintour, as revealed earlier this year by Vogue.
Federer, of course, appeared at the event with his wife Mirka. The 20-time Grand Slam champion wore a black tuxedo, while his wife came in a beautiful pink dress with a big ribbon.
Federer has always been trendy both on and off the court, and it's clear that he doesn't want to disappear from the public eye even after retiring from professional tennis.
In his career, Federer lifted 103 trophies, which is the second-most in the Open Era on the ATP Tour. 20 of those were Grand Slam titles, including eight at Wimbledon. He also held the World No. 1 for 310 weeks, and 237 of those came consecutively during his first stay atop the rankings.
He is also an Olympic gold medalist in doubles, with his gold medal coming at the 2008 Beijing Olympics alongside Stan Wawrinka. Federer also won a silver medal at the 2012 London Olympics.
