Rafael Nadal, who will face Novak Djokovic in the night session on Tuesday, definitely didn't appreciate the news coming out of Roland Garros on Monday.

The Spaniard has stated that he dislikes playing at night since the circumstances are more difficult to play in and the ball slows down. It essentially makes his forehand less effective, which is an issue. It's an even larger issue as Rafael Nadal will be up against Novak Djokovic, who enjoys playing longer rallies. The Serbian didn't hide that he prefers to play the 13-time Roland Garros champion at night, as he did last year when he won in four sets.

During the first set of the match, Nadal hammered Djokovic, but as the sun went down, Djokovic found more alternatives. Speaking about the scheduling, Rafael Nadal's coach, Carlos Moya shared his opinion as he believes the match should have been played during the day.

“I wouldn't say disrespect, but here at Roland-Garros, Rafa has credit," Carlos Moya told RMC Sport. "He has won the tournament 13 times, and if he has a request, you should listen to him. He is part of the history of Roland-Garros."

"We know that nobody is bigger than [the tournament], nobody is bigger than the Grand Slam, but in the end, it is a question of business and we understand that.”
