Former player Chris Evert spoke to Eurosport after Carlos Alcaraz continued his Madrid Open onslaught admitting that she's stunned by what he's producing on the court.

Alcaraz has been utterly impressive from the moment he stepped on a tennis court. He turned 20 yesterday and despite his young age, he's already one of the most accomplished tennis players on the Tour. Countless wins, a grand slam trophy, a number rank, finishing as number one at the end of the year - the list just keeps on going and it's likely to be legendary by the time he's done.

It's very hard to summarise how impressive he is at this stage of his career. Even experienced tennis minds like Evert have difficulty framing how impressed they are with what he's been able to do this year and generally in his career so far.

I don't know how he can improve anymore. The beauty of his game is that he has no weaknesses whatsoever for any of his opponents to have a chance unless he's having a bad day.

Like many so far Evert doesn't see any real weaknesses in the game of Alcaraz. That wasn't the case with other top players in the past who all had some sort of weakness in their game. Evert doesn't see anything with Alcaraz.

Other top players in the past, they've been brilliant, but you always felt like there was some sort of weakness in their game or something they could really magnify and bring out. Carlos, the way he is defensively, and the way he is offensively, no other player can do those two aspects as well as he can.

According to Evert, Alcaraz is the best mover on Tour by far which is a huge compliment with the likes of Djokovic still kicking around. He's pretty tough mentally and he's not afraid of the moment however big it is. That's another crucial part as is his passion which is matched by very few.

He is the best mover on the ATP Tour by far, I think. He has the mental component as well, which is confidence - he thinks he should win any match that he plays, and he has sheer passion and delight every time he hits a ball. He's just very creative and he adapts very well. I think this is definitely going to be his year. I don't see how it can't be unless he gets injured. I have high expectations. Some majors, maybe more than one, and maybe some good rivalries will come out of the men's side as well.
