'He Is A Tough Man To Please': Draper Details Chaotic Ride With Murray

British Next Gen star Jack Draper revisited his recent boozy ride with Andy Murray that left the former World No. 1 seething in the driver's seat.

Recently, Murray shared his side of the story of a viral video he posted on Instagram in which the duo shared a car ride back home after guiding Great Britain into the Davis Cup Final 8. Murray and Draper scored wins in their singles rubbers.

But it was up to Dan Evans and Neal Skupski to seal their spot in Malaga by winning the decisive doubles match against France in dramatic circumstances, saving four match points in front of a packed house inside AO Arena in Manchester.

And the evening got doozy for Murray who was unimpressed by Draper's singing skills. The 21-year-old could be seen chugging a can of beer while performing his own rendition of the music playing inside the car.

Draper has since described what the whole experience entailed in a video shared by LTA. The young lefty from Sutton begins by praising Murray and calling him his childhood idol. Draper was happy that Murray gave a score of 7.5 for his singing skills, adding that he's a tough man to please.

"I got a lift back with Andy from the Davis Cup. I'd maybe had a few drinks. He was in the car. Some of the tunes I was picking out maybe he wasn't enjoying my singing. We have a great relationship."

"I have the utmost respect for Andy and watching him when I was younger. He's my idol. So, to be in the car journey home with him on the way back from the Davis Cup and seeing this now, like if I was seeing this when I was 10, I'd probably be a bit shocked by what's going on."

"He actually gave my music 7 and a half out of 10 for the whole four hours. So for him, you know, he's a tough man to please. I'm pretty happy with that."
