Despite not going through the best of form this season, Andy Murray has been backed to turn things around by ex-pro Tim Henman.

With ongoing concerns over the state of his body, Andy Murray has seen a dip in form in recent years, months and weeks, with this season's performances and therefore results facing the brunt of it.

It has also seemed that, even when the Scot's body does seem to be firing on all shots, he cannot find his best tennis. All this has contributed to him having a dreary season to date.

But, according to someone who knows him better than most, it is just a question of time before the former British number 1 finds his best tennis again.

Former world number 4 Tim Henman has had his say on his compatriot's recent form, and he has explained where's Murray's strengths lie, predicting that a return to form and results could be just around the corner.

"I think [Murray's] had such a sort of challenging last four or five years and now he's starting to build some consistency with his fitness so now he can play on a more consistent schedule. For me, he's still only scratching the surface. He's in the top 50 and if he plays the full schedule then I definitely think he can be back seeded in the Grand Slams."

In terms of those very Grand Slams, being seeded brings with it a significant advantage, especially for players like Murray who would really benefit from not facing another seed until at least the third-round.

Henman continued along that same line, explaining how that should be the main goal for the Scot for the moment:

"You'll get to see him with more protection and then he can have a really good run in in the slams still. And that's definitely the motivating factor."
