Only a few hours after the 2022 US Open final finished, we know who gained and lost the most during the last Grand Slam of the season.

In the ATP Rankings, there wasn't any significant move in terms of ranking spots lost as there was in the WTA Rankings. Emma Raducanu lost 72 positions, Leylah Fernandez dropped by 26 spots and Angelique Kerber by 19. It's a whole different story among men where Novak Djokovic, Daniil Medvedev and Alexander Zverev experienced the biggest drops.

But their drop isn't significant in terms of places lost but mostly because of points that they lost. Daniil Medvedev lost his world number 1 spot as he moved to no. 4, but he lost a total of 1820 points after not defending his 2000 from last year.

Novak Djokovic was not allowed to enter the United States and so he lost all of his 1200 points for playing last year's final and dropped by one position to world no. 7. Alexander Zverev, who is dealing with an injury since this year's Roland Garros also didn't travel to the United States.

The 25-years-old German dropped a total of 720 points and he fell from the second to fifth position. In terms of positions lost, Botic van de Zandschulp, Gael Monfils and Reilly Opelka lost the most as they dropped 13, 8 and 10 position respectively.

On the other hand, Karen Khachanov, Alejandro Davidovich Fokina and Frances Tiafoe were the most significant movers in the Top 30 of the ATP Rankings.
