For the second Grand Slam in a row, Carlos Alcaraz has opted to abide by a similar dress code after the first reveal of his 2024 Australian Open outfit came to light.
Alcaraz is one of the major favorites to win his first Australian Open as he returns to the event he missed last season due to injury. Unfortunately for the Spaniard, he'll have to do it without a significant pillar in his team - his coach, Juan Carlos Ferrero, who is recovering from knee surgery in Spain.
For Alcaraz, it will be added motivation to win the tournament for his injured-stricken coach, who has nurtured his talent and developed him into the player he is today. In Ferrero's absence, Samuel Lopez will take over coaching duties, and so far, everything has gone well.
Alcaraz hasn't played any warm-up ATP events in the build-up to the Australian Open but did feature in a few exhibition matches to refine his game ahead of a fresh assault on another Grand Slam title. He will be in a three-way battle with Novak Djokovic and Daniil Medvedev for the World No. 1 ranking.
Alcaraz will also walk into his first match on Tuesday, against French veteran Richard Gasquet, with a fresh look and outfit. Just like last year's US Open, Alcaraz will sport a sleeveless top, which has been a fashionable kit donned by his great countryman Rafael Nadal throughout the years.
Alcaraz's clothing sponsor, Nike, has identified the 20-year-old's unique appeal to tennis fans and, therefore, provides him with exclusive gear that has been tailor-made for him. For this year's tournament, Alcaraz will wear a lime yellow sleeveless top with a green accent on the collar.

The two-time Grand Slam champion will complement this ostentatious style with white shorts. The expected colorway of Alcaraz's custom-made shoes by Nike has been circulating online, although this has not been confirmed.
