Former coach of Serena Williams, Rick Macci, seems to be a huge fan of Carlos Alcaraz when he released another series of tweets that predict a great future for the young Spaniard.
Alcaraz is definitely a special talent. He's the first player to defeat Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic on clay in consecutive matches and the first to do it on any surface since 2010.
The young Spaniard already lifted an ATP 250 trophy last year in Umag, an ATP 500 trophy this year in Rio, and an ATP Masters 1000 trophy at the 2022 Miami Open, and he will try to add another in Madrid.
Already at just 19 years old, the only title that Alcaraz misses is a Grand Slam title, and he will have a chance to win one at the 2022 Roland Garros, which is right around the corner.
Previously, Macci compared the young Spaniard to the Big Three, saying that Alcaraz could become the greatest tennis player of all time.
"I've seen Federer, Nadal and Djokovic when they were young, but in the last 30 years I haven't seen anyone like Carlos Alcaraz. I can see this guy becoming the greatest player of all time."
Now, the experienced American coach released another series of tweets, in which he praises the young phenom. According to Macci, Alcaraz could win 10 Grand Slams by the time he turns 24.
"Google the word fearless, and the 8 by 10 glossy of Carlos Alcaraz appears!"
"Carlos Alcaraz checks every box inside and out that the game of tennis has not seen. Barring injury this young incredible humble athlete will inspire many and change the game the way it is played."
"By age 24 I said Alcaraz will have 10 Grand Slams. I was wrong. My bad! He will have more!"
Macci isn't the only one who predicts a great future for Alcaraz. Many experts agree that he will be the one to climb to the top of the ATP Rankings soon. Current World No. 1, Novak Djokovic, also stated that 'Carlos Alcaraz isn't the future, he's present.'
