After her father complained about Caroline Wozniacki not getting a Roland Garros wild card, she got a wild card for the 2024 Bad Homburg Open alongside Paula Badosa.

Grass season is quickly approaching, and one of the stops players will be making to play some grass tennis is in Bad Homburg. The event has been part of the WTA calendar for a while and delivers some pretty good tennis for fans.

This year, there won't be any shortage of big names because former world number one and former world number two players will play. Wozniacki will play at the event after getting a wild card entry.

She recently made headlines after her father complained about her not getting a wild card entry into Roland Garros, which forced her to play the qualifiers if she wanted to compete. She dismissed that option, so she won't be in Paris this year but will be in Bad Homburg.

"I can hardly wait to come to Bad Homburg for the first time! I heard great things about the tournament from Angie. It’s always something special to play in front of an enthusiastic audience."

Paula Badosa will be in Paris these upcoming two weeks, and then she will move to Bad Homburg after getting the second wild card entry into the event. Like Wozniacki, she is excited about playing in the German city.

"As professionals, we love playing in fully occupied stadiums – and Bad Homburg seems to have a special tennis community. For me, it is ideal preparation for Wimbledon . I am grateful to have received a wildcard for Bad Homburg."
