Carlos Alcaraz held group clinics and offered private lessons to hotels at the One&Only Palmilla - a 5-star resort in the Mexican city of Los Cabos.
Alcaraz's Mexican tour began in late November, where he played an exhibition match in Mexico City in front of jam-packed La Plaza de Toros Monumental against Tommy Paul. He illuminated the venue with dextrous hands and some outrageous shots during the match.
Just a few days later, Alcaraz made the trip to Los Cabos, where the 20-year-old collaborated with the luxurious hotel - One&Only Palmilla - to offer a unique tennis experience through the Spanish management company LUX Tennis.
After an intense season full of highs and some lows, the chance to take comfort under the cerulean sky with the rustling breeze of the ocean was a fitting way to bow out for Alcaraz. He also had a chance to mingle and bond with aspiring young players and some of his diehard fans.
Oceanfront room reservations cost $1,240 per night with special amenities like breakfast, fitness classes, and water sports. Those staying for three nights would benefit from a special promotion of a complimentary fourth night.
But if you wanted to perfect your tennis skills, it came with additional charges. The hotel billed $550 per guest in a group session with the World No. 2, while those interested in a 30-minute private lesson were to pay a whopping $5,000.
The Spaniard shared a photo dump on the Instagram page of his time in Los Cabos, posing for the cameras with kids and some of the guests who signed up for this one-of-a-kind experience because most of the time, tennis clinics of this type are with players well past their retirement.
"Thank you @oneandonlypalmilla and @luxtennis for this memorable stay in Los Cabos! I'm coming back home with the energy charges at 100% and ready for the preseason!"
