Alcaraz To Have Netflix Documentary About His 2024 Season Released In 2025

Carlos Alcaraz never participated in the Break Point Netflix series, but that's because he will get a standalone docuseries about his 2024 season, which will premiere next year.

The young Spaniard is probably the most exciting name in tennis right now. Out of the active players, Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal are probably the most recognizable names in tennis, but the player who has everybody buzzing about him right now is Alcaraz.

He just won his fourth Grand Slam trophy at the 2024 Wimbledon Championships, and fans will get a chance to see all of his journey next year when Netlifx premiers a docuseries about his 2024 season.

This year has been strange for Alcaraz in many ways because he missed much of the clay season, but then again, he had some pretty big highlights. He won the Roland Garros, and now he won Wimbledon, with the Olympics as his next stop.

That's going to be another exciting mini-story in itself because he's likely the top favorite to win gold in Paris, especially in light of his recent French Open triumph.

He'll also play doubles with Rafael Nadal, which is an amazing story for the docuseries as well. Overall, it's just been a great year to have him followed by cameras, and now, the details about the documentary have been confirmed.

The announcement came directly from Netflix with the press release featuring a short quote by Alcaraz, who promised fans to see a lot from his life, including things they never had a chance to see.

Despite being one of the biggest names in tennis right now, Alcaraz is relatively modest away from the tennis courts. We don't know much about him except that he lives a simple life and loves spending time with his family and friends back home in Murcia.

This docuseries, set to premiere in 2025, will likely show all that and more. So far, no exact date of the premier has been given, but we know that it will be directed by Morena Films.

On top of that, it won't be the Spaniard's first appearance on Netflix, as he took part in the Netflix Slam earlier this year, beating Rafael Nadal to win the inaugural edition of the exhibition tournament. That match will be also part of the docuseries.
