Carlos Alcaraz is a tremendous player, and according to Rafael Nadal, he doesn't really have any weaknesses in his game.

Respected former Spanish tennis player Feliciano Lopez spoke last year about how lucky Spanish tennis is to have Alcaraz appear in what seems to be the twilight of Nadal's career.

The country had one of the top players for almost two decades and now has another superstar who emerged at basically the perfect time. He's quite the superstar, too, becoming the youngest number-one on the ATP Tour ever.

He also already has two Grand Slam trophies to his name and, according to Nadal, does have a weakness in his game. The Spanish legend talked to La Sexta, where he touched upon Alcaraz, who bested him in one of the three matches they had played so far.

"He is very good and very young. Let's see how he manages it and how his body responds. Carlos has an incredible level of tennis. He is a super complete player. I don't see any weaknesses in him for his age like I had. I served much worse than him, I had a worse volley, a worse slice, a worse backhand..."

That is really high praise for Alcaraz, who got much of it from many experienced former and current players. He has a chance to really carve out a spot in tennis history for himself, and as Nadal pointed out, we'll see how he handles it.

That's basically going to determine in large part what type of career he ends up having. When it comes to Nadal and his younger compatriot, we might see them often on the courts this year.

They are supposed to play in Las Vegas next month, and they might team up for Spain at the Paris Olympics. Exciting times are coming up; let's just hope both remain healthy enough to see it through.
