The ATP will reward the Top 30 players with the most points accrued from Masters 1000 tournaments and ATP Finals this season, with details of its distribution yet to be confirmed.
The ATP, however, confirmed that payments will be made to the players by January 2024. This follows the recent bonus pool distribution information at the ATP 500 tournaments, where a maximum of five players will vie to earn a fair share of $1.3 million.
Spain's Carlos Alcaraz currently leads both lists. Alcaraz has won the most points of any player in Masters 1000 tournaments this season (3,275 points). He has won two titles (Indian Wells and Madrid) in addition to finishing runner-up in Cincinnati, as his most notable results at that level.
Novak Djokovic also features in this list but languishes in seventh spot with 1,270 points. However, the Serbian World No. 1 has played in just three Masters tournaments, winning his solitary title so far at the Cincinnati Masters, where he defeated Alcaraz in a final for the record books.
Daniil Medvedev is in second place with 3,175 points winning in Miami and Rome. Italy's Jannik Sinner, who broke the Masters barrier with his title win in Canada, is in third place, earning 2,510 points. Hubert Hurkacz, who won the most recent Masters title in Shanghai, vaulted into the fifth spot.
All the Top 30 players in line for this bonus have the chance to rack up more points at the Paris Masters (the last ATP 1000) and the ATP Finals (only the world's Top 8 in the race).
"The ATP Tour Masters 1000 and Nitto ATP Finals 2023 Bonus Pool will be USD $20,000,000. The order of standings will be based on total Pepperstone ATP Ranking points earned across the ATP Tour Masters 1000 and Nitto ATP Finals in 2023."
"The bonus pool financial distribution is to be confirmed. The bonus pool distribution payment to players will be made by the end of January 2024."
