The 2024 Cincinnati Open will offer a total of $6,795,555 in prize money to players competing at the ATP Masters 1000 tournament.

Running from August 12th to 19th, the Cincinnati Open, also known as the Cincinnati Masters, presents players with a unique chance to complete their preparations for the last Grand Slam tournament of the season - the US Open.

As a result, the field of players is always very stacked, and the same applies also to this year's entry list for the Cincinnati Open. Still, there was one notable withdrawal, as the defending champion, Novak Djokovic, won't be competing in the tournament.

That increases the chances of everyone else in the draw, and players will be happy about that as there will be a lot to fight for, specifically $6,795,555 that will be distributed in prize money overall.

The top favorites to grab the biggest part of that will be Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner, who will be the top two seeded players at the 2024 Cincinnati Open, and the top two favorites to take home $1,049,460 that will be awarded to the champion as well as 1000 ATP points.

The defeated finalist will get a very nice consolation price, as their bank account will grow by $573,090 and their points account in the ATP Rankings by valuable 650 points.

Those who don't have title aspirations can also look forward to being rewarded adequately in Cincinnati. Already for a first-round exit, players will get $27,165 and 10 ranking points.

If they make it to the second round, their prize money reward will almost double, going up to $49,030, and earned ATP Rankings points will get five-times larger, as 50 points will be warded for a second-round exit.

These numbers only grow for the following rounds. All of the players who make it to the third round of the tournament will get 100 ATP points and $91,435.

The first players to make six digits at the 2024 Cincinnati Open will be the quarter-finalists, as they are guaranteed $170,940 and 200 points for making the last eight.

After that, the reward for making the last four, semi-finals, increases to 400 ATP points and $313,395 out of the total prize money allocation of $6,795,555.

With the defending champion out of the tournament, everyone's chances significantly increase, so this distribution becomes even more exciting for lower-ranked players. The full overview of the ATP prize money and points distribution for the 2024 Cincinnati Open can be seen below.
