The 2024 ATP season will culminate with the ATP Finals in Turin, and the line-up for the tournament has been completed.

The 2024 ATP Finals will be held from November 10th to 17th in Turin's Inalpi Arena, and all of the players that made it to the entry list are already known.

The Italian crowd will be certainly delighted that Jannik Sinner was the first player to qualify for the tournament. Sinner secured his spot already in August thanks to his consistent performances throughout the season.

It won't be his first ATP Finals participation, as Sinner made his debut already in 2021, even though he didn't directly qualify for the tournament. He served as the first alternate and stepped in after his compatriot, Matteo Berrettini, was forced to retire down 6-7(7), 0-1 to Alexander Zverev.

That meant that Sinner played the following two matches. In his first match, he showed why he deserved a spot at the year-end tournament, beating Hubert Hurkacz 6-2, 6-2. He then played with an eventual finalist, Daniil Medvedev, against whom he had two match points but ultimately lost 0-7, 7-6(5), 6-7(8).

He then didn't qualify in 2022, but last year, Sinner delivered a show in Turin, beating all of his opponents, including Novak Djokovic, who won three majors in 2023, to reach the final. However, it was Djokovic who stopped him in that final, denying him a title that the 23-year-old will want to win this year.

The second player to qualify was Alexander Zverev, who is a two-time champion of the tournament. He won the event in only his second participation, back in 2018 when the tournament was held in London, beating Djokovic in the final.

He reached the semi-finals the following year, losing to his good friend Dominic Thiem, but in 2021, already in Turin, Italy, Zverev repeated his success from 2018, winning the tournament after beating Medvedev in the final.

As a two-time champion, he will be one of the favorites to win also in 2024, especially since he will be one of the highest-seeded players at the tournament.

Another player that secured a spot at the 2024 ATP Finals is Carlos Alcaraz. The Spaniard doesn't have good memories of the tournament, but he will certainly want to change that.

In 2022, he qualified for the year-end championship but couldn't participate, missing his debut event. That happened last year, in 2023, and he started with a loss to Zverev, 7-6(3), 3-6, 4-6.

The Spanish player was able to forget that and win his following two matches against Daniil Medvedev (6-4, 6-4) and Andrey Rublev (7-5, 6-2) to qualify for the semi-finals of the tournament.

In the semi-finals, however, he was beaten by the eventual champion Djokovic. Like Sinner, he will want to win his first ATP Finals trophy this year.

After the first three, Daniil Medvedev joined them in qualifying for the ATP Finals thanks to his consistent results throughout the season. It will be the sixth consecutive participation for the Russian player, who won the title in 2020.

Taylor Fritz then joined the entry list as the fifth player. It will be his second participation at the tournament after he reached the semi-finals in 2022. Last year, he was only an alternate.

Following Novak Djokovic's withdrawal from the event, the race for the last two spots between three players was over. Casper Ruud, Alex de Minaur, and Andrey Rublev all qualified for the 2024 ATP Finals.

For Ruud, this will be third participation. He reached the semi-finals in 2021 and the final in 2022, but last year, he did not qualify. De Minaur, on the other hand, will debut at the year-end championship.

Rublev is the most experienced out of these three players, having competed at the ATP Finals every time in the past four seasons. However, his best result is only the semi-final from 2022.
