The 2022 Cinch Championships at Queen's will run from June 13th to 19th, and the breakdown of prize money has been announced.

Once again, this ATP 500 event has attracted a talented pool of players in what has become a staple event on grass just before Wimbledon. This year, the tournament committed to a total prize of 2,134,520€.

This year, fans will be treated to emerging star Carlos Alcaraz, 2021 Wimbledon finalist Matteo Berrettini, and two-time Wimbledon champion Andy Murray.

From 2000 through 2007, Lleyton Hewitt and Andy Roddick won every title in Queen's until Rafael Nadal broke their streak in 2008. Andy Murray has won this tournament five times, while Matteo Berrettini is the most recent winner, and they will be the main attractions at the event.

The event will feature a large number of top players, including Casper Ruud, Denis Shapovalov, and Gael Monfils. The tournament is traditionally a good warm-up for Wimbledon.

Stan Wawrinka will compete, hoping to achieve the best possible performance in his comeback to the only Grand Slam tournament where he's yet to win a title. Cameron Norrie, another British superstar, will compete in the Cinch Championships for the sixth time.

Prize money distribution will begin in the first round, with players who exit at this stage pocketing 16,650€ but won't receive any points for their efforts.

In the second-round stage, players will receive monetary and points rewards if they lose. They will make 31,215€ in prize money and will receive 45 points.

From the semifinal stage onwards, players will reap big. Semifinalists will earn 114,465€ and receive 180 points. The champion, meanwhile, will bank 399,170€ and get the full 500 points. The beaten finalist will earn 214,775€ and receive 300 points.
