The 2023 Hopman Cup returns to the ATP & WTA calendar once again and the schedule of play promises a spectacular event.

The popular event which was last held in 2019 returns but this time, it won't be held in Australia but in Europe. The Nice Lawn Tennis Club in Nice, France, will host the event and therefore it's not a surprise that France as a host nation is among the countries competing.

They are joined by Denmark, Switzerland, Belgium, Croatia, and Spain, with each country having a lot to offer. The event will be played from July 19th to 23rd, 2023, and due to the incredible demand for tickets, the schedule of play was already released.

The show will start on Wednesday, July 19th, with Denmark taking on Switzerland on the Center Court. As with every tie at the 2023 Hopman Cup, the WTA match will be played first, with ATP match next, and mixed doubles concluding the tie.

Clara Tauson will play against Celine Naef in the opening match, after Belinda Bencic withdrew, with Holger Rune taking on Leandro Riedi in the men's singles match. If the score is tied, a mixed doubles match between the two countries will decide the tie.

On Thursday, July 20th, two ties will take place. Hosts France will play against Denmark on the Center Court, while Belgium will meet Croatia on Court 1. Alizé Cornet will play against Clara Tauson in the women's singles match on the Center Court, while veteran Richard Gasquet will take on youngster Holger Rune.

On Court 1, Elise Mertens will start against Donna Vekic, and David Goffin will meet Borna Coric in the men's singles match. The action will continue with two more ties on Friday, July 21st, with Spain also joining the action.

On the Center Court, Belgium will take on Spain, with Elise Mertens meeting Rebeka Masarova, who replaced Paula Badosa, before David Goffin clashes with prodigy Carlos Alcaraz. On Court 1, Switzerland will play against France. The first match will see a battle between Celine Naef and Alize Cornet, and the second match will see youth and experience as Leandro Riedi will meet Richard Gasquet.

The last tie of the group stage will be played on Saturday, July 22nd on the Center Court. Croatia will play against Spain and Donna Vekic will want to make her mark against Rebeka Masarova. The same will apply to Borna Coric against Carlos Alcaraz, with the possibility of mixed doubles match deciding as in all ties.

The final will be played on Sunday, July 23rd, and it will be naturally held on the Center Court. As with all other ties, it will start with a women's singles match, followed by men's singles, and concluded by mixed doubles.
