Coco Gauff is one of the most active tennis players on social media, and she used her time on the platform TikTok to embarrass an account that attempted to troll her.

Gauff is already one of the sport's biggest stars. Her breakthrough as a 15-year-old at Wimbledon four years ago was memorable, and many felt she was destined for greatness from that moment on.

Understandably, the teenager has needed time to improve, and that process will continue in the coming years. However, some of the expectations from sections of the media since her Wimbledon debut have been unrealistic.

Gauff had a breakthrough at this year's French Open, reaching her maiden Grand Slam final without dropping a set. Iga Swiatek proved too good in the final, but it was still a significant moment.

Most fans realize how popular the American is and the interest she generates. However, one thoroughly unintelligent troll on TikTok tried to deride how many fans watched her, but they undoubtedly regretted it afterward.

A fan of Gauff posted a humorous video on the platform from a recent exhibition match she played, jokingly saying, "She also played tennis." The fan was not being serious and was clearly a supporter of the 18-year-old.

One account decided to be more negative by commenting that nobody watches Gauff's matches. The troll showed that grammar and editing are not among their strengths with an an obvious spelling mistake in the comment.

“That’s cap nobody goes to your games,”

Gauff saw the comment and delivered a savage response. She attached pictures of packed stadiums from her matches in different parts of the world, utterly disproving the troll. She also added a cheeky comment, drawing support from many other fans on TikTok.

"Ok whatever you say bro,"

Putting the troll in their place will only add to Gauff's popularity among her existing fans, as well as endearing herself to other tennis watchers.
