18-years-old Coco Gauff will play her first Grand Slam final at the 2022 Roland Garros, but the young American knew she had a bright future ahead of her already 7 years ago.

In 2018, still only 14-years-old Coco Gauff won the juniors title at Roland Garros and already in 2019 as only 15-years-old she reached the fourth round at the Wimbledon. Since then, she was progressing every year and will be ranked among the first 13 women in the rankings for the first time in her career.

On Saturday, she will play in the final of the 2022 Roland Garros against Iga Swiatek and if she succeeds she can climb to the 8th place of the WTA Rankings. Yet, it's still just a beginning for the young American as her career is still just at the beginning despite playing on the WTA Tour for 4 years already.

"I feel like I'm one of the best in the world in my age group. Even in higher age groups. I prefer not to say it because I'm not really a boastful person. I'm humble but when I know that I'm the best and I should always stay at the best and I was always told 'easier to get to the top but it's harder to stay there'."

"And my goal is just to stay there and be better and then when it comes to professional, I'll be the greatest of all time."
