British sensation Emma Raducanu is certainly a woman of many talents, as she recently showed off her language skills when she spoke Spanish ahead of the 2022 Madrid Open.

Raducanu rose to tennis stardom when she won the US Open in 2021, and since then, she's been closely followed anywhere she goes, and the same applies also to the upcoming WTA 1000 tournament in the Spanish capital.

It's a good custom that players sometimes try to say sentences in the native language of a tournament where they come to play. This time, Raducanu will be playing at the 2022 Madrid Open, and like many of her colleagues, she spoke to fans in Spanish ahead of the tournament.

The tournament organizers tried to bring tennis fans to TV screens, and so they asked some players, like native Paula Badosa, but also Aryna Sabalenka, Ons Jabeur, Naomi Osaka, and Raducanu, to say a sentence, asking fans to watch the 2022 Madrid Open.

Raducanu will start her Madrid Open campaign against Tereza Martincova, whom she defeated a few weeks ago during a Billie Jean King Cup match against the Czech Republic.

After losing to Iga Swiatek in Stuttgart, the 2021 US Open champion will try to prove her clay-court qualities once again in Madrid, where she starts the tournament as the ninth seed in the draw.

Lately, Raducanu's coaching decisions have sparked debate, as the British parted ways with yet another coach. Raducanu and German coach Torben Beltz split after five months together, with the Brit opting for a different training approach.

Previously, Raducanu's decision to replace her coach, Andrew Richardson, who had helped her to the 2021 US Open victory, shocked many tennis fans, but the British player will likely want to focus on her on-court performances during the clay season instead of coaching drama.
