Emma Raducanu made it to the semi-finals of the 2022 Korea Open in Seoul after yet another impressive performance.

It seems that everything clicked for Raducanu in Seoul, which turned out to be her best tournament this season. Last year's US Open champion couldn't win more than two consecutive matches throughout the 2022 season, but that changed at the Korea Open in Seoul.

First, Raducanu defeated Moyuka Uchijima, and then she also bested Yanina Wickmayer. In the quarter-finals of the tournament, she took on the third-seeded Magda Linette.

The higher-ranked Pole was a slight favorite in the match, but that didn't mean much to Raducanu, who was trying to earn some ranking points after a major drop. The Brit started with a break and added another one as she gained an early 4-0 lead in the first set.

Both players then remained solid in their service games, so Raducanu eventually won the first set 6-2. She served extremely well, winning all 12 points after her first serve, which was crucial as she avoided facing any break points.

In the second set, Linette started by winning the first seven points of the set, but that wasn't enough for her to break the British player's serve.

On the other hand, right after the Pole's streak, Raducanu started her own eight-point streak. That meant she got to three break points, and after converting the second one, she led already 2-1.

Eventually, Raducanu broke her opponent's serve twice also in the second set to win the match 6-2, 6-2 in just an hour and 16 minutes.

It was a performance that fans were used to seeing from her last year at Flushing Meadows, and it seems that the former WTA World No. 10 player might finally be back. In the semi-finals, she will take on the winner of the match between top-seeded Jelena Ostapenko and another teen sensation, 17-year-old Victoria Jimenez Kasintseva.
