Maria Sakkari was among those players who were questioned about the return of Serena Williams as they are both in Eastbourne this week.

Speaking at the event, Sakkari admitted that the return is obviously a welcome sight for tennis because she's one of the biggest players in tennis history.

"I grew up watching Serena and Venus because my grandma is a tennis freak. I just feel like it's very good for tennis that she is back and I think that it brought a little bit more suspense.

While many are happy to see her return there is a lot of worry for players as well. It was first pointed out by Brad Gilbert as he admitted that many players are feeling anxious about Wimbledon because she can literally play anyone in round one as a non-seed. Sakkari echoed some of those worries as well.

"I'm sure that everyone wants to avoid her, especially if she wins a few matches. She will start feeling good about her game and she is Serena Williams. She is the greatest female athlete of all time."
