Serena Williams continues hinting at a possible comeback. Since the legendary American retired from the sport, she hinted at her return multiple times.

It seems that only a few weeks from "evolving away from tennis," Williams started to miss the tennis courts. During many interviews, the 23-time Grand Slam champion hinted that she might once come back, and she did it again.

When asked if it was her last match at Flushing Meadows, she said that she loves Australia, hinting at her comeback at the Australian Open.

Then she also spoke to Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show. When asked if there was a chance of her "pulling a Tom Brady" (American football player who came back from retirement only 40 days after announcing it), the 23-time Grand Slam champion said that "Brady started an amazing trend."

Now, when speaking to Bradley Cooper with her sister Venus, she dropped yet another hint that it may not be over for her in terms of a professional tennis career.

Talking to Bradley Cooper for History Talks in Washington, D.C., Williams spoke about the reasons for her retirement and what she looks forward to.

"I just needed to stop. I always said I wanted to stop when I’m playing really good tennis and winning and beating good players. For me, it’s really about things I want to do spiritually and spending time with my daughter and family."
"As a super hands-on mom, I can’t tell you how hard it was. I lost so many matches after I had Olympia because it was so hard to be on the court. I feel like I’ve given so much of my life to tennis, my entire life, that it’s time to do something different for me and also work on other things."

At the same time, Williams stated that she felt that if she chose to return to the tennis courts, she could do that.

"I feel like if I want to come back, I definitely can still come back."
