Elina Svitolina showed that she wants to help people in need when she supported young Ukrainian tennis player Sofia Kryvoruchko.

Like many other successful athletes, Svitolina has a foundation that supports various causes. She's one of the most successful tennis players to come out of her country, and her results certainly back that up.

In 2017, the Ukrainian reached the world no. 3 rank on the WTA Tour, and during her successful tennis career, she accumulated millions in prize money, being one of the Top 30 best-earning players in the history of the WTA Tour, and on top of that, she earned a lot also from sponsorship deals.

But instead of enjoying all of the money herself, Svitolina wants to share with others, and that's also one of the reasons why she created her own foundation - Elina Svitolina Foundation.

She helps many of her compatriots through her foundation, and this time, the Ukrainian delivered a package to young tennis player Sofia Kryvoruchko, who aspires to become a WTA player one day. The package included two pairs of shoes, some T-shirts, socks, and trousers, all with the logo of the Elina Svitolina Foundation.

The young Ukrainian didn't hesitate to thank her compatriot when she published pictures in her new tennis gear on Instagram and thanked the two-time major finalist and Olympic bronze medalist.

"I am very grateful for the help of Elina Svitolina, especially at this difficult time for Ukraine, thank you very much!"

On the WTA Tour, Svitolina isn't currently experiencing the best part of her career, as she withdrew from the Madrid Open and the Italian Open in Rome. Moreover, the Ukrainian recently admitted that she's been constantly thinking about the ongoing war in her home country, and as a result, she can't fully focus on tennis at the moment.
