Jannik Sinner continued his run at the 2024 Wimbledon Championships with a solid performance against Miomir Kecmanovic.

The Italian was heavily favored in this match simply because he's the number one player in the world and good on grass. He had a really tough opponent in the previous round, compatriot Matteo Berrettini, who pushed him heavily and almost forced him to play in five sets.

Sinner didn't have the same problems in this match against Kecmanovic, as the Serbian is neither on Berrettini's level nor that good on grass. He generally prefers to play on the other two surfaces, but he did decently at times.

The opening set was not one of those times, as Sinner won it comfortably 6-1. It was just a furious performance by Sinner, who hit the ball exceptionally well, totaling nine winners in seven games of play, and only two of those were aces.

The second set was far more competitive because Kecmanovic was able to keep his serve more easily. Sinner was still dominating in play, but the Serbian was able to hold on relatively well.

He still wasn't able to keep up towards the end of the set, as Sinner closed it out 6-4. The final set was easier for the World No. 1 player on the ATP Tour as he once again took an early break, and from there, it was simple for him to finish things off.

Sinner was spectacular in this match. He served really well and barely lost any points behind his first serve. He was also hitting the ball well from the baseline, which was too much for reserved Kecmanovic, as Sinner won the match 6-1, 6-4, 6-2.
