Novak Djokovic is one of the greatest men's champions to ever grace the tennis court and showed so again with his run to the Paris Masters final.
A shock defeat to young gun Holger Rune wasn't in the script for Djokovic, as the Dane inflicted his first defeat in 31 Masters 1000 finals, and it looked as if Saturday's gruelling semi-final win over Stefanos Tsitsipas finally began to catch-up with the Serbian star towards the climax of the match.
And it was during that three-set semi-final win that the Djokovic team sent tongues wagging around the Paris-Bercy arena with the way the mixed a drink for their man.
The minor controversy began when a fan decided to focus their camera on the player box, preparing a booster during a changeover.
However, when they noticed they are being filmed doing it, their behaviour can only be described at best a little awkward and at worst a little too secret, as if they had something to hide.
The video has gone viral on social media, with tennis journalist Ben Rothenberg raising his questions about transparency in what they were giving him.
He wrote on Twitter: "I've always thought there should be more transparency about the substances players take, particularly during matches, but I've also rarely thought anything was likely amiss. But golly, the body language in this video is bizarre. What does the Djokovic team think needs hiding?"
Another wrote in the comments of the Damian Reilly video: "I’m not insinuating anything. Novak is a great champion, one of the greatest I have ever witnessed.
But what the hell is this? His team literally tell the guy next to them to lean forward to cover his physio making the drink. Why the need for secrecy?"
There is no accusation whatsoever that Djokovic is up to anything unscrupulous, but it does raise questions as to why his team looked so shifty for an innocent drink?
