WATCH: "Learn to play tennis, I played like s**t and I still beat you" - Gulbis to Martineau

Living tennis meme Ernests Gulbis created another memorable moment on the courts by beating and then trolling his opponent following the match.

The 33-year-old Latvian was Nick Kyrgios before we ever met Kyrgios as Gulbis made his name by playing some spectacular tennis at a fairly young age. The talent of Gulbis was always known, ever since he hade the 2008 Roland Garros quarterfinal as a young man. He built a fairly decent career for himself over the year reaching the Roland Garros semifinal in 2014.

He has 6 trophies to his name and was number 10 at a time but he never lived up to his full potential because he was never fully committed to tennis. He was literally Kyrgios before Kyrgios doing all the same things as he does on the court while also calling the top three somewhat boring.

The last couple of years of his career have been shaky as he is not playing consistently and his ranking dropping to number 375 at the moment. He is still playing though and at age 33 he's still the same old Gulbis. After beating Martineau he trolled him after the French player called him out on earlier unsportsmanlike conduct for which Gulbis got a code violation.
