Christopher Eubanks is having a dream Wimbledon so far as he's in the quarter-final which is something he never thought would happen.

Christopher Eubanks started this year outside of the Top 100 on the ATP Tour but he's likely going to be a seed at US Open thanks to some impressive play this year. The American has been solid for the most part but he had three really great runs.

The first one came back on home soil in Miami where he made it to the quarter-finals losing to Daniil Medvedev. He actually started that event in the qualifiers winning 6 matches before finally losing to Medvedev.

The second big run came in Mallorca before Wimbledon as the American made it to the final beating a very good grass player Adrien Mannarino in the final to win his maiden ATP trophy.

He's following that up with a superb run at Wimbledon, one that might even extend beyond the quarter-final. It's been an almost perfect fortnight as Eubanks admitted that the only issue he's had in London was with the hotels as he had to push back his checkouts a few times.

We've had to change hotel checkout dates a couple times. That's been about it. Everything else has pretty much stayed the same. Typically when I book the hotels, especially at slams, I'll typically say, Let's book until Friday just because the cancellation policies can be tough. We'll see what happens. We had that happen. Moved it again to Monday.
Then I believe yesterday or two days ago, we said, Let's just move it to next Friday just to see. If we got to move it one more time, we might just move it all the way to the end of the following week. That's really the only logistical change that's had to be made. Everything else has been pretty much the same.

Everything else is looking really good for him as this run will give him plenty of points to secure a Top 50 debut. He'll position himself in a great spot to possibly be a seed at the US Open which would be huge for a player that generally had to play the qualifiers to get there. On his Wimbledon run so far, Eubanks struggled to find the right adjective.

Dream come true. Yeah, it's tough to really put into words, but to be able to come out today and play the way that I did, just kind of take everything in, it's surreal. I can't really describe it. It would be better if you guys asked questions. I think that might make things a little bit easier.

He will get a chance to take on Medvedev in the quarter-final after the Russian advanced past Jiri Lehecka. It's the maiden Wimbledon quarter-final for both of them which is interesting and also the second time they play this year. The first one was easily won by Medvedev. The match will be played on Wednesday, July 12th.
