Andrey Rublev admitted that he doesn't get to meet stars from other industries like some other players do, and he wondered why.

For a few seasons already, Rublev has been one of the best players on the ATP Tour and continues to prove it every time he steps on the court. He did that also in 2022 by winning three titles already, and he's hoping to add some Grand Slam success in New York.

After fighting past Laslo Djere in the first round, he defeated Soonwoo Kwon in the second and set up a third-round clash with Denis Shapovalov.

However, besides competing at the 2022 US Open, Rublev also got a chance to explore New York. He went to some concerts, attending shows by Harry Styles and Twenty One Pilots.

"I went Monday and Friday to Harry Styles, and Tuesday to Twenty One Pilots. I would have liked to go to Twenty One Pilots again but they only performed one time."

The Russian was asked whether he got a chance to meet Harry Styles, but he admitted that he doesn't get to do those things.

He also referenced one moment when he asked to attend an NBA game, and he got really bad tickets, compared to Alexander Zverev, Lorenzo Sonego, Matteo Berrettini, and Casper Ruud.

"No, they don’t do those things for me. I don’t know how all the players they met all the stars. You can’t imagine, I asked once to go to an NBA game in Miami and they gave me the last, last row at the top. And I think I was top 10 at the time."
"And then I see all the players, Zverev, Sonego, Berrettini, Ruud, all of them in the first row, taking pics with all the stars and I say, ‘How does that work?’ And I still want to know how that works."
