Patrick Mouratoglou will accomany Holger Rune and his coach until the start of 2023 when he will return to Simona Halep.
Many people would desire to work for the busy former coach of Serena Williams but because Rune has known Mouaratoglou for a long time and attended his academy when he was younger, he will have that chance for a few months.
It comes after Halep encouraged Mouratoglou to keep himself busy as she works her bay from nose surgery. He will be present for the ATP events in Stockholm, Basel, Paris Masters and the Next-Gen Finals in Milan.
“While Simona Halep is taking time to recover and is away from the game, she encouraged me to seek a new collaboration. Today I’m pleased to announce that I will officially be joining the team of Holger Rune. Together we’ll compete in four tournaments and prepare in the winter season for 2023.” wrote Mouratoglou on Instagram.
