Nick Kyrgios took to social media to clap back at a neighbour who posted photos of his parking method after the photos went viral.
The situation arose after the neighbour posted photos of Kyrgios' car parked the wrong way on Facebook asking people for advice. He wrote:
“Looking for some advice here, it’s a tricky one, we have a car share allocated spot right out the front of our apartment building. Recently a very well known famous and quite notorious tennis player has decided that he is somehow entitled to park in it with his own vehicle.”
Kyrgios was made aware of the post as it went viral and he took to Instagram to issue an apology while sliding in a bit of dig at the neighbour as well. He wrote:
"Hi there, I’ve parked in the right spot. I’ve made amends. Sorry for my inconvenient parking for one day."
His response only added more fuel to the fire as many people started discussing the topic online. Obviously, several people sided with the neighbour as Kyrgios was in the wrong and the Australian could not resist chiming in once more writing:
"Haha nothing to talk about it Australia other than where Nick Kyrgios parks. Y’all are funny.”
